Total Productive Maintenance is a concept and working method to increase overall equipment efficiency. Everyone in the company must be engaged to improve the efficiency by eliminating losses in machine equipment and other processes.
Within TPM, methods and experiences of machine maintenance or operator maintenance have been developed. The purpose is to develop an interest for the operators and they can take greater responsibility for the company's machine equipment and maintenance.
