Planning for and controlling the resources

To get the most value out of our resources we must design production processes that make products most efficiently. Managing the operation means planning for and controlling the resources used in the process.

Manufacturing Planning and Control, MPC, is responsible for the planning and control of the flow of materials through the manufacturing process.

Utbildningsmål: Syftet med kursen är att ge dig kunskap om hur man samordnar lager-, produktions- och distributionsfunktionerna i företaget samt att balansera motstridiga målsättningar för att minimera den totala kostnaden och maximera kundservice.

Efter avklarad kurs kommer du att ha fått en omfattande inblick i planeringen och kontrollen av resurser som används i företagets processer.

Målgrupp: Personer som exempelvis arbetar inom produktionsplanering och utveckling, produktionsteknik, lagerstyrning eller inköp och som vill utveckla och förbättra sina kunskaper inom material- och produktionsstyrning.

Förkunskaper: Du bör ha kunskaper i grundläggande logistik och viss inblick i produktionsplanering. Dessa kan ha förvärvats genom studier och/eller arbetslivserfarenhet.
