The most common is that a whole chain of companies are involved in the transformation from raw materials to finished products. The companies have a common interest of satisfied customers within Supply Chain Management. In order that material flow works, each point in the flow is required to get necessary information.
A basic purpose of supply chain management is to control inventory by managing the flows of materials to meet demand from customers or own production.
Objectives:
To gain insights into the significance of effective supply chains and information exchange built by the co-operation between customers and suppliers in a holistic view.
Participants:
Personnel working in the fields of such as production planning, production development, purchasing, distribution, transportation or customer and supply service.
Qualifications:
The participants are supposed to have knowledge of basic logistics.
Training Method:
Workshop - Supply Chain Management is an instructor-led workshop composed of lectures and group activities where the participants can gain their theoretical understanding through practical training.
